CERTIFIED PLANT OPERATOR COURSE
The concrete mixing and batching plant is the heart of any concrete production facility.
Plant downtime can cost a lot of money and lost income. These costs can come from poor equipment maintenance practice and rework or patching associated with poor quality concrete production. They all add up!
This programme was developed to provide plant operators and maintenance personnel with the know-how to prevent downtime incidents, to produce consistent quality concrete, sustain peak equipment performance, and ultimately make more profit.

CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY - THEORY AND PRACTICE
This course will provide engineers, architects, technologists and field inspectors with a comprehensive understanding of modern concrete technology, covering all aspects from mixture design, to transporting, to handling, to curing to field control tests and on-site performance.
Students will also take home soft copies of the chapters and presentations summarizing each chapter.
CONCRETE HANDLING SAFETY
The construction environment includes unique work hazards not often encountered in other industries.
At times, safety professionals may be called upon to consult on a site-specific project, facility expansion, or large renovation project.
The ability to recognize safety and health hazards in the construction industry and the knowledge to control those hazards is important to safety professionals.
This course will provide an overview of construction safety, review site-specific safety plans, and safety and health hazards in construction.
This programme covers the practices and techniques which construction firms can use to keep customers, employees, and the general public safe.
Health and safety management is essential for any construction venture, which have high incidences of hazard and injury.
